Social Communication Difficulties
Fluency
Hi there! I’m Georgette — a Speech-Language Pathologist based in Tennessee. For education, I earned my Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University and my Master of Science from Midwestern University. Additionally, I’m nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in several states, which allows me to work with a wide range of individuals.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience in hospitals, rehab centers, and outpatient clinics, but my true passion lies in working within the education setting. I specialize in the areas of articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
My sessions are anything but one-size-fits-all; I bring energy, creativity, and fun into each one through games, music, and giving my clients choices in how they'd like to learn. I truly believe that when therapy feels engaging, meaningful progress follows.
Having gone through speech therapy myself, I understand what it’s like to be in the client’s seat. That experience gives me a deeper sense of empathy and connection with those I work with, as I strive to be a supportive, attentive listener and a compassionate guide.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and embracing new experiences. Whether I’m traveling, figure skating, or spending time with family and friends, I’m always seeking growth, joy, and a fresh perspective. I’m excited to connect with and support you on this journey toward stronger communication. Let’s work together to make it a positive and meaningful experience!

Social Skills
Hi! My name is Giada (pronounced JAH-Dah) and I am currently based in Berlin, Germany, after relocating from Italy 7 years ago. My academic journey began at the University of Chieti, where I earned my degree in Occupational Therapy, laying a strong foundation for my career in pediatric care.
In Berlin, I started working at a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in neurology, orthopedics, psychiatry and pediatrics. Here, I gained extensive experience working with children facing a wide range of developmental and neurological challenges. My work primarily involved supporting children with ADHD, autism, rare diseases, Down Syndrome, premature birth complications and concentration disorders. This role allowed me to develop specialized skills in addressing the unique needs of each child, tailoring therapeutic interventions to promote their cognitive, emotional, and motor development.
In these settings, I focused on early intervention and sensory integration, helping children enhance their daily living skills and achieve greater independence. My approach is always child-centered, aiming to empower families and support children in reaching their full potential.
To further deepen my knowledge, I have successfully completed a course in Early Stimulation, which compliments my existing skills and enables me to better serve infants and toddlers at critical stages of their development.
I am fluent in German, Italian, Spanish, and English.

Hi there! My name is Kat, and I am an occupational therapist (OT). I am a Texas native currently living in Germany since 2019. After living all over the United States, I realized I wanted to experience a different culture and learn a new language, and this led me to Germany.

Hi, I am Kivi! (Kivilcim Afacan – she/they).
I moved from New York and am currently located in Berlin.
I have always found sciences exciting, and I studied a well-balanced mixture of natural and social sciences before pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the City University of New York.
From a young age, I have been inspiring my peers and students of varied ages to get excited about the subjects we are learning. My learning and teaching philosophy has been “it’s actually a lot of fun, if we look at it this way...”. Over the years I observed this curious and playful attitude become a long-term skill for learners to apply in managing challenging situations. As a scientist and educator with experience in different continents, I volunteered with several disadvantaged communities, worked as a full-time professor at a variety of colleges, and supported women and minorities in STEM.
I specialize in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (all levels – including AP), SAT prep and general academic support. My lasting interest in the gamification of tasks and challenges is an added bonus for my fellow learning friends and students.
I am from Turkey and I speak English and Turkish. In my free time, I like playing the piano, jogging, experimenting with cooking, making clay sculptures, and doing acro-yoga.
