Hi, I'm Laura, a counselor and coach with a Masters in Counseling from Monash University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Edith Cowan University in Australia. My passion lies in supporting students as they navigate their learning pathways, helping them develop executive functioning skills, build confidence, and feel successful in their education.
I specialize in solution-focused counseling, and executive functioning development, with a strong emphasis on the connection between identity and success at school. My work also includes supporting students in exploring gender and sexual identity and fostering a sense of self-understanding and empowerment.
With a student-centered and strengths-based approach, I create a safe, supportive, and engaging space where young people can develop the skills they need to thrive academically and personally. I believe that every student deserves to feel capable and confident in their learning journey, and I tailor my approach to meet each individual’s unique needs.
I have extensive experience working with students facing challenges such as school or social anxiety, self-esteem issues, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and life transitions. My coaching and counseling sessions focus on practical strategies for time management, organization, motivation, and resilience, ensuring that students gain the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
I am Australian and Canadian, and I speak English.

"I just wanted to thank you again for your thorough and helpful report. I found it enlightening and informative. E has been identified as a problem child, when I really don’t think she is. I realize that your report does make this clear, and I greatly appreciate your efforts to try to develop something more concrete”
