Hi, I’m Ruby!

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from Plattsburgh State University of New York. I am also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist in the United States. As a first-generation American with family roots in El Salvador, I bring a personal passion for supporting diverse communities. I am currently based in Germany.

Previously, I worked in New York for several years as a Bilingual School Psychologist. My role was primarily in an elementary school, supporting students in both inclusion and self-contained classrooms. I also traveled across the district to provide additional support as needed. My work included counseling, social skills groups, psychoeducational and social-emotional evaluations, behavior interventions, and special education services. I facilitated numerous 504, IEP, and Student Support Team meetings. I have experience supporting students with diagnoses such as anxiety, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, speech and language impairments, and more, working with children and young adults aged 4 to 21.

Beyond school psychology, I have experience implementing an international leadership program for adolescents. I am passionate about helping students from culturally, linguistically, and neurodiverse backgrounds thrive. My areas of expertise include psychoeducational evaluations, social-emotional assessments, bilingual education, counseling, and academic interventions.
