Hi, I’m Shaenelle! I am an Occupational Therapist (OT) with over 6 years of experience in pediatrics. I hold a BA in Psychology from York University (Canada) and a MSc. in Occupational Therapy from Leeds Beckett University (UK). In addition, I am a Certified ‘Powerfully You’ Provider, an AOTA accredited SEL curriculum.

With training in both the United Kingdom and the United States, I’ve worked predominantly as a school-based OT, while also expanding my reach through private tele-health services to work directly with families.

My passion lies in integrating social emotional learning (SEL) within a neuro-sensory approach. My primary goal is empowering children to master their sensory and emotional regulation skills, enabling them to implement effective strategies in any setting.

Over the past two years, I've dedicated my career to creating inclusionary techniques that extend beyond the therapy room. My work includes developing programs and curriculums specifically designed for parent and educator training, to ensure continuity and a thriving environment for children across all settings.

My expertise lies in Neuro-sensory SEL, Visual Motor/Perceptual Skills, Fine Motor skills, Handwriting Development and Environmental Modifications.
